The Design: 
The Brooknit Bunny is a playful first project that transforms a knitted square into a small bunny. Use leftover yarn and personalize the bunny with a ribbon, embroidered features, and an optional pompom tail. The finished item is suitable for children with adult supervision.
 

Knit a simple square, shape and close it to form the head and body, add filling, then finish the face and tail. The project introduces the basics of knitting and simple assembly while producing a complete item in a few hours.
